GENERAL INFORMATION
Anamnesis is Colorado College’s student-edited philosophy journal. Once a year, the journal gathers philosophical writings created by undergraduate authors from colleges and universities nationwide and publishes our favorites alongside thought-provoking imagery created by talented student artists. Distinct from highly specialized graduate-level philosophy journals, Anamnesis seeks to publish accessible yet rigorous contributions to the discipline. Colorado College students founded the journal in order to give their peers a taste of what philosophy can be at its best. In pursuit of this end, Anamnesis aims to publish clearly written, elegantly argued essays that directly pertain to the most interesting, difficult, and pressing issues in both philosophy and our lives. We hope the journal can be a source of curiosity and contemplation for all those who read it.
