Anamnesis is hiring for an Editor-in-Chief for the next academic year (2026-27).
Responsibilities include:
Managing and overseeing a team of editors and art
This includes organizing team meetings and Pub Days, assigning articles to editors, creating a timeline for staff, and generally supporting them
Ensuring timely and smooth publication of both Fall and Spring issues
This includes creating a theme, sending out call for papers, selecting pieces for publication, and ensuring a smooth production process
Managing budget and spending
Representing Anamnesis in the Cutler Publications board
Making overall decisions and plans for the publication
Uploading issues to our website and ensuring our archive stays updated
We are looking for:
Someone who has strong communication and leadership skills
Is able to create a timeline and plan and hold themselves accountable
Demonstrated engagement with philosophical text; a major or minor in Philosophy is strongly preferred
A strong passion for student publications
