Anamnesis
Della reichel, co-editor-in-chief
Della Reichel is a senior from Oakland, California, dual majoring in Organismal Biology/Ecology and Philosophy. Her interests include reading contemporary literature, heated debates over home-cooked meals, riding her bike to class, and philosophical investigations with non-philosophers. Her journey into journalism began in high school, where she wrote for her school’s newspaper and eventually worked her way up to the sole Editor-in-Chief. Writing has always been a fervent passion for her, whether for academic projects or personal enjoyment.
She has long believed in the power of writing to guide and shape thoughts, actions, and emotions. Thus far, she has helped to solidify the foundations of Anamnesis, creating permanent staff roles, processes, and dynamics. When she started, the staff consisted of just two Editor-in-Chiefs. She has since helped the team grow to nine additional employees, including Editors, Copy Editors, Art Directors, and Web Designers. She hopes to continue to build Anamnesis into a landmark journal both at Colorado College and schools nation-wide.

Her curiosity about philosophy created a gateway to Anamnesis, where she works beside Della as the Co-Editor-in-Chief. She is passionate about the intersection between philosophical arguments and artistic elements that go into the world of philosophical thought.
Before joining the publication, it consisted of a staff that has now tripled in size under her and Dellas's leadership. She is eager to continue growing the journal to produce academically rigorous material alongside thought-provoking creative works.
